It revolves around the main character Valesque and her struggles to keep her unfinished ship intact when it is commandeered for war duty and subsiquently winds up in uncharted space when one of her long lost inventions activates. She is befriended by a shy science officer, a very flirty police pilot, an air headed android and a suspicious alien girl found drifting in space. Together they have to put aside their prejudices, learn to get along and find their way home. Love triangles, hidden identities and subterfuge abound as well as a generous smattering of humor as tempers and personalities collide.

I strongly recommend you read the previous books in this series ( Trippin and Just Passing Through) prior to reading this book.Another fantastic installment from Valesque and the lost in deep space tripper crew! Although this installment started off a bit slow, it quickly picked up and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
This adventurous and intoxicating story is literally laugh-out-loud funny! Fellow Space Tripper fans, this book is a must read! Some secrets are revealed and big decisions made that may alter the route of this brilliant series.
I highly recommend this book to fellow dark urban fantasy readers looking for SF books with writing styles similar to urban fantasy. I also impatiently await the next book Will Work for Parts due out 2011.

Using just the right amount of tech, and the right amount of quirkiness, Aurora Lightbourne has a well-paced novel that leaves the reader satisfied. Unlike most series where you have to read the prior novels to understand what is going on in the next. Book Three of the Space Tripper's series makes an easy transition for the reader. With well-defined characters that the reader can make an investment in. Aurora shows the skill that she has as a writer. I can't wait to read the next in her series.

In book 3, the adventurers explore a water planet locked in ice and poverty by the peculiar local custom of choosing their leaders on the basis of genetic mutation and allowing the Water Princess to control the water supply and offworld trade. Of course, our heroes manage to get themselves into even worse trouble than they were in when they landed the Princess falls for a member of the crew, Valesque discovers the simple engineering secret of the control of the spring and the locals do not appreciate it, and just when it seems a discovery below the snow is about to turn things serious, a robot fairy show up to amp up the antics. This is a fun story and a good, lighthearted escape. I look forward to the next adventure in the serial.
All i can say is i cant wait till the next one comes out it is a great adventure to read and very descriptive
Easy to read and reasonably engaging.
But a complete scam at the price, the whole book is equivalent of 3 chapters in a normal book. Pretty much a short story
Good book to just sit and read, entertaining. Found you can enjoy the book without getting it to hung up on the science.
I'm enjoying this series. On to the next one! I'm hooked. I'll keep going for the long haul. There are typos and other grammatical errors, but I don't care. These books have been entertaining, and kept me up way past a reasonable bedtime.
