I started out reading relationship books with "coach Corey Wayne". As a man who grew up in a ultra feminist society, I was taught to ignore women and feel ashamed of my male desires. The coach taught me that straight women, want real men and to let go of that shame. However, even after reading his book twice, I felt like I was missing something important. After reading a few more relationship books, I still felt insecure and as if I was missing something important.When I started reading Marni's book, I finally felt like I was getting the last piece of the puzzle. As a woman, she gives you honest advice on how to actually talk to women. It goes beyond the speculation that male authors were giving me. After less than a week of reading this book, I approached a girl at the gym. Results aside from my first approach, this book gave me the confidence I needed to actually take that first step.
I have been waiting forever for a book like this. Real advice from a woman's point of view. So many women give false advice, in an attempt to make themselves look nice. Marni is just a totally honest human, proud of her womanhood, and willing to share the truth.

I picked up this book after reading Will Work for Women The Guide on How to Meet, Attract, and Date Women. The book offers solid advice. I think that Marni is unique in that she tends to give good advice despite being a woman. Many women give terrible advice and she seems to be an exception. The good is that you will get a different perspective on how women operate, and some of her information is truly advanced when contrasted with some older pua material. I also think that the book has some glaring flaws. I wish she would have focused more on her theory and approach and less on going over the specific examples of guys problems. Most guys who are reading the book know they have problems, the numerous examples of letters from lost souls got monotonous for me. I would recommend this book as an addition to your collection. Also add The Game Penetrating the Secret Society of Pickup Artists,The Way of the Superior Man A Spiritual Guide to Mastering the Challenges of Women, Work, and Sexual Desire, and The Natural How to Effortlessly Attract the Women You Want. This collection of books will give any man new perspective and new skills.
Whether you are having problems with woman or not this book is for you, if you are a man then this book is for you, it give you perfect insight into the mind of a woman and demystefies the female mind, if you've ever thought to yourself what is going through her mind then you will get a lot out of this book and I plan on reading again at a later point in my life.
Word of caution though the book does have numerous grammatical errors and missing words also the bonus content is a bit confusing to get but other than that a really solid book

Similar to the book Bang, this book assumes that the reader is a complete loser male who is afraid to talk to women and can never get a date. It also assumes that he will sleep with just about any woman willing to say yes. By contrast, women are to be desired. They are these sexy creatures that are busy rejecting all the loser men they have to deal with. It tells the man over and over again to be assertive and self confident. My personal experience is the opposite. I am assertive and self confident. I just meet women all the time who are complete losers and just not desirable. There is nothing at all in here about meeting higher quality women, or ways to quickly asses whether the woman is a loser. Nothing in here about ways to break it off without upsetting her. No instead it basically tells the man that he needs to brush his teeth and take a bath before going on a date. He shouldn't tell his date that he lives with his parents etc.
I almost feel embarrassed having these books laying around. If someone sees me read a pick up artist book they might assume that I'm a complete loser like the authors of these books do. Besides that, the advise is mostly common sense. Ask a lot of women out and eventually one will say yes. Act confident. Don't be too clingy. You might find some useful information in here, but it all seems directed at a complete loser male. The thing is these books market themselves like "dirty secrets of getting laid" and "get the inside psychology on how to get women to sleep with you" then they basically tell you to act confident and don't be scared of approaching women. Where's all the dirty secretes and insider psychology? I must have missed it.
They portray women as edgy, sophisticated, desirable beings that must deal with loser males drooling all over them and acting weak. Both the book Bang (written by a man) and this book (written by a woman) seem to have similar assumptions in that regard. I don't see any real difference in males or females in that regard. If you go into a bar you will mostly meet alcoholic, drug addict women who have bad attitudes, who don't understand basic social etiquette and who make lots of bad choices in life (this is not a good thing if you want anything more than a one night stand). And you will meet men who are pretty much the male counter parts to these females. I'm not sure why the pick up artist community believes otherwise.
If you are a normal guy who is already confident and can actually get a date with a totally ugly undesirable woman, then you might get marginally better with women from reading this kind of material, but there is nothing earth shattering in here. I think the whole PUA culture brings our society down a notch culturally because it just magnifies the trashiness of the whole dating scene. That being said, I'm glad to improve wherever I can, even if it is only marginally. I just wish there were more sophisticated pick up books written for a normal audience.
I purchased this book as I am a huge fan of Marni and the Ask Women podcast. As much as I want to give this book a 5-star rating, it honestly wasn't that good. Each chapter was rife with grammatical errors, and the structure of the book was very poorly organized. Marni could have really benefited from a few rounds with an editor. I recommend you just listen to the Ask Women podcast. If the podcast helps you like it did me buy this book to support Marni, but don't buy it if you are looking for a great read.
